However I am sure in a real shoot it would run a lot smoother unlike mine, as there were a few hiccups along the way.
Such as the store Kakook not opening until 10.30am, me and one of my models was standing outside the store on the Monday morning at 9am with a big suitcase for the clothes.
When the store finally opened, I though we can get on with this and get to the studio as I had it booked from 10am.
However the shop owner wasn’t in and she assured me that if she wasn’t there she would let her staff know that I am able to have the clothes.
Well the shop assistant knew about me and lending the clothes however she didn’t want to let me have them in case she was to get told off by the owner. So I suggested if I cannot borrow them as I didn’t want to put the assistant under pressure I said can I buy the clothes then return them tomorrow?
The owner phoned and said I was able to use the clothes, luckily.
I picked my 6 outfits, two for each of my models then two

It took a while to sign all the clothing out as it had to be done on two copies so I had one and the shop had one, I don’t understand why they didn’t photocopy me a sheet but I just let the assistant get on with it.
I was now in a mad rush to get to Wakefield to do my shoot, as two of my models were waiting there for me. It was about 12pm when I got to Thornes park campus, with having the studio booked from 10am that’s three hours of studio time I had lost.
I was keen to carry on and not let the time lost effect me.
When I got up to the studio I saw another class in there, for some reason they didn’t know there was a booking sheet even though it’s up in there classroom with “Katie has the studio 10am till finished” in the Monday box!
However after arguing with there teacher at the fact I did book the studio, they had an hour to carry on and pack away, so I used this time to do my models hair, make-up and sort out the clothes they would be wearing.
I did there make-up and hair the same so they all were unified. For the make-up I used red lipstick, black glittery eyes with a dark blusher and bronzer over the top. For there hair I told my models to come with straight hair, and I back combed parts so it had more volume.
When going into the studio, the group before didn’t take all the lights down which they were meant to however, I changed it to how I wanted it.
I had the white background up; with 2 lights facing it and two soft boxes at the end of the background I also used the fan to create wind in the shots.
At first we had a problem with the background as we couldn’t make it white no matter how bright the lights was, however the pictures came out with a creamy background and we all said we preferred it anyway as it was different. I used magazine rip outs to inspire the models and to get them to do the poses, which helped out a lot.
I really enjoyed doing this shoot and working with Gemma, Jessica and Joanna. They all worked amazingly and acted professionally.
