Testing testing

One of our next modules is we get to select the genre of our choice. With me wanting to be a fashion photographer I obviously decided to fashion so it would be good practise and I would be able to experience what I want to do for the rest of my life.
I have organised borrow clothes from a boutique in my local town, however before I do my shots I have done test ones so I will know exactly which settings, lightings and positions I would like my models to be.
I did research and covered the different genres so I have explored other ideas, looked at the history of my chosen genre which is fashion, looked at the history of fashion photography. Looked at a variety of photographers then I also got images out of different magazines such as Elle, Vogue, H&M and Office.
After doing some research I have decided to do my photos studio based on a gray background.
So I was able to remember the light settings I took the picture then took a picture of the studio set up is a few of my test shots…
