is the biggest annual photo and imaging industry show, Focus on Imaging got the chance to get closer to the experts from their favourite photography websites and magazines.
So with that in mind, we went on a trip with a few other photography groups to Birmingham NEC to the Focus on imaging exhibition.
It was free entry for us as we are students and we only had to pay £10 for the coach which was pretty good to say the coach was very modern and we got to watch hangover on the way down which was very entertaining.
I was really excited for the trip as one of are tutors was telling us about her last years experience there.
HOWEVER it was nothing like I thought it would be, pretty much a let down to be totally honest, it was mainly stalls selling expensive equipment and if you don’t have the intention of buying anything it was basically pointless going.
There was a few exhibitions which caught my eye however with the place being jammed packed with people moving the pace of a snail or standing in the was I became very frustrated and I didn’t want to be there.
When talking to my tutor about my horrid experience she agreed and said last year was much better and it was much better organised.
