Andy Hemingway

With one of our teachers being Mike from the coach house gallery, he invited us to an exhibition by Andy Hemingway, he thought it would be a great chance to meet and talk to a professional photographer and ask questions and see his work.
The majority of the class went and with us getting there an hour before the exhibition was open to the public we was able to have a good look at his work and get some advice off him..
When looking at his work it was very impressive, presented well in the frames however I personally found them quite expensive.
His images was of the Southern Pennies and it was landscape photography as that is his passion however he did inform us that is very difficult to make a business out of landscape photography so he does a graphic designing job so he can earn some money.
After speaking to him and looking at his work it made me feel very confident as I know I could produce something like that. However not exactly like it as I felt he over edited his images, it was done well but I think too much for my liking.
